For this exhibition catalogue we worked with photographer Corine Vermeulen to devise a system for documenting the entire space of the exhibition. Corine stood in a series of fixed spots in the gallery and took photos while rotating around 360 degrees. We used each of those spots to determine the structure of the book — each set of circular photos resulted in one signature. It turned out to be a thoroughly complicated and time-consuming process to execute. The spreads of exhibition photos alternate with essays and images from Comme des Garçons shows.
